Hope every one had a great ThanksGiving. We have had a busy month at daycare. The cold weather has really gotten them going, they have really made me feel my age this month! We got a couple new friends. Wilma who is very sweet and Nessie the pit pup. All the puppies are growing so fast and have great personalities. We will be having a DayCare Christmas party!! I heard Buster is going to surprise us with something, can't wait to see what it is. Right now it looks like we are going to try for Dec 18h. from 9:30-10:45 I will post it this week.

Well we finally picked the winner for the Halloween costume contest. It was really hard to pick a winner all were sooo cute. The winner is, Buster and Sundance!!! I would like to say thank you again to Busters Grandma and Grandpa for bringing the Halloween treats, and to everyone who spent the time to dress their pets up for us. We really do appreciate all of you for bringing your pets to Coastal and participating in our activities. Thank You All!!

Well I finally got to download some pictures, I was having a problem with flickr. Anyway baby star has become a regular!! She is a sweet pup and tries very hard to keep up with the rest of the gang. It looks like JJ is back we had another visit from him today. And little Piper comes a few times a week. Aubie was back for a visit last week too, he is very sweet. They were full of themselves this a.m. We had a long chase that I thought would never end. They did not care who was in their way (me of course) but I managed to stay on my feet!

Finding your pets pictures by dates

Just wanted to let everyone know that I started to put the pictures into groups by dates. It will make it easier to look up your pets. If you go into the slide show and click on the lower Left corner where it says coastaldoggie day care it will take you to another section of the pictures. From there they will be listed by dates on the right side of the page.

Ok, I don't know about any one else but I was cold today. Lucky for me I have the gang to keep me warm (and hot chocolate) Well we had a special guest today, some of you may remember JJ the black standard poodle. He spent the morning with us, I hope he is here to stay. Little Piper is back in town too, I hope she is also here to stay. Both are great dogs and enjoy playing with everyone.

Just a reminder Friday Oct. 31 the Clinic will be having a HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST. It will be from 8am to 4 pm. There will be prizes for "BEST COSTUME" "MOST ORIGINAL" AND "CUTEST". I will try to get pictures of all the daycare pets before going out into the yard.

We had a new friend join us his name is Dane and he is a very sweet lab. We also had sweet O'l Roy come for a visit last week. Little Charlie has fit right in with the gang, and he is growing like a weed.

I would like to get every ones opinion. If we were to start having daycare on SATURDAYS would anyone considering bring their pets in on that day? Not sure if it would be half days or full days. Not sure if this well happen or not I am just putting the idea out there. It would have to pass the bosses approval first and only if we were to get a good response. We did get a few new friends this week. JUNIOR a lab and CHARLIE a boxer mix. Junior is a sweet boy. He was a little afraid of the small dogs, it's kind of funny cause he is so big. Now little Charlie was not afraid of anything or any other dog, He is 4 1/2 months old. KATINA (front desk) brought to my attention that I did not give any introduction to her pup GUS!!! His full name is Augustus. He is a pug and is 15 months old. Very sweet as ALL OUR daycare dogs are.

What a great day we had. It was Buster's 1st Birthday!!!! All his friends showed up to have cake with him and his family. Everyone was on their best behavior (considering it involved food) Buster got to share his day with 2 new friends, Haley and Cookie. The weather was great, pools were out and dogs were running!

Wednesday morning for MR.BUSTER!!!! It is his first birthday. Duke and Sundance got new hair cuts, and the girls love it. Lucky and Bear got to go home last week after spending 6or 7 weeks with us, we Will sure miss them.

WOW, what a wet couple of weeks we have had. It did not stop anyone from wanting to stay out of the pool. Leave it to Buster to take everyone to the big mud hole that he made! (I have filled it in). We also celebrated Sundance Birthday! His mom brought cookies for everyone. We also got a few new friends: Pebbles,Jake and Bud.

IT HAS BEEN A HOT AND RAINY COUPLE OF WEEKS, BUT THAT DID NOT STOP ANY BODY! DAKOTA'S MOM BROUGHT TREATS (FROSTY PAWS) ON ARE HOTTEST DAY. EVERYONE WAS SO GOOD WAITING FOR THEIR PIECE. O.K. BUSTER DID GET A LITTLE ANXIOUS AND TRIED TO GET A TASTE OF EVERY ONES, BUT HE JUST COULDN'T HELP HIMSELF. THANK YOU DAKOTA'S MOM!!! WE ALSO HAD A FEW NEW FRIENDS JOIN US. BERNIE THE GOLDENDOODLE, NEUTRON (VIZSLA) AND SUNDANCE (GOLDENRET.) THEY ARE VERY NICE AND VERY CUTE.

It sure has been warm out this past week, even Sampson has been in the pool a lot more. Now that I think about it, most of the dogs have been in the pool. Our new shy boy Bailey still isn't sure about the water yet. Of course Emma and Annie are in it no matter what.

The Thunder storms haven't been much of a problem with the gang. They think it's fun when I have to run and chase them to get inside.

My helper Murphy came by to play with everyone. School starts soon so we will miss her.

Everyone had a good time today. Little Piper and Emma were nonstop all morning. Heiki and Genna came for a visit. Genna enjoyed playing with big Piper. Genna also enjoyed playing with our new friend Bailey, they took to each other right away. Missy also joined us today. Earl and Booo are always the best of buds when they are together.

WOW was it a hot one today! Of course it did not stop the crew from their daily chases. In fact I had to make sure everyone took breaks and cooled down. They are pretty good about jumping in the pools after their runs. We did have couple new friends one is Flower (labdoodle) and Chavelle (pit) sweet girls. We had a little guest here today, a sweet pup found on the streets. He was cleaned up and vaccinated and was able to play for awhile till his new owners could come and get him.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Astra came back for a visit as well as Jake. Annie came by and was none stop, but Molly and Gus had a great time with her. Old Emmy was back too, she has so much energy for her age. She loves to play with the puppies. Ol' Roy is here for a visit, he is the sweetest boy. And of course I enjoy having all our regulars, my day wouldn't be complete without them.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!! Thursday was Dakota's Birthday! Dakota's mom,dad and some of her human friends came for some cake and cupcakes!!!!! Everyone got a piece of cake made with natural ingredients(made by Shannon)it was very good. Murphy even came for the party. All were on their best(ok semi best) behavior.

Piper returned from her vacation, we sure did miss her. Buster didn't know what to do when he saw her. Zoe was happy she was back as they both love to chase the ball and play in the pool together.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAKOTA!!!!

Our new pup Toby is fitting right in, he discovered the pool today. He loves it and it is so cute to see him enjoying it. His sister Gypsy loves the water too. Booo has become great friends with Toby and Gypsy, they were non stop all morning. Booo also became friends with our new member Roy, he is very sweet. Duke and Gypsy were wrestling and chasing each other most of the afternoon. Sundance was very amused by Toby who also likes to hunt the toads in the yard. Calie and Gypsy were both competing for the ball and to be first in the pool.

Yesterday Tucher came for a visit, he is a funny little guy. He loves to chase the water from the hose. Sampson was every where as usual! Most of the dogs stayed around the pools to keep cool, plus were got a new outdoor fan that they love to stand in front of. Thats Bennie's favorite spot. Bear and cruiser hit it off. Lucky is so mellow he went along with what ever was going on.

Sorry it has taken me so long to add new pictures and update the blog. I hope to be back on track now. I will try to put pictures in their dates to make it easier to look up your pets.
We have been very busy and glad at that! We have had alot of new pets join us this past month!
The heat has not slowed anyone down, the chase is always on. The pools are crowed these days, I have seen some going in that normally never go in even Harley!
